Mayor's International Bike Ride
Residents and their families are invited to participate in the Ninth Annual Mayor's International Bike Ride on Saturday, October 25th.
Founded by Mayor Nicholls and leaders from 4FrontED, the Mayor's International Bike Ride unites communities and highlights the region. The mayors and elected officials from the cities of Yuma, Somerton, San Luis, Welton, and San Luis Rio Colorado, along with Yuma County and the Fort Yuma Quechuan and Cocopah tribes, gather to host the ride, welcoming and encouraging participants along the route.
This is a family-friendly event that moves at a leisurely pace, guided by area public safety agencies with stops every four to five miles.
Starting at the Yuma Civic Center, the ride includes stops at Cocopah Korner, Somerton City Hall, Friendship Park in Gadsden, and Montezuma at Benito Juarez Park near San Luis Rio Colorado's City Hall.
